Meet Our Staff

Jon & Denise bought the facility in the spring of 2019. They have brought many new updates to the facility and have added an exciting new energy. With a passion for seeing growth and expansion, there are many exciting changes coming to Golden Wood in the future!

Lexi came to Golden Wood in the spring of 2021. She has worked with animals her entire life and has a passion for grooming. Lexi came to Golden Wood to continue working with animals and to get more experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and horseback riding.

Mady came to Golden Wood in the spring of 2021. She is a certified veterinary assistant and is currently attending the Vet Tech program at Wilson College. She enjoys kayaking, campfires and spending time with her family and friends.

Chanda came to work for Golden Wood in June 2021. Chanda has 14 years experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has always loved helping animals since she was a child. Chanda enjoys camping and spending time in Gettysburg PA.

Lorena came to Golden Wood the summer of 2021. Lorena took 3 semesters of Veterinary Assisting Program at Chambersburg Career Tech. She has two dogs, a gerbil, a hamster, a guinea pig, a bunny, three birds, and now two kittens. She has always had a passion to work with animals.

Shyann came to Golden Wood the summer of 2021. Shyann is currently in her Senior year at Veterinary Assisting Program at Chambersburg Career Tech. After graduation, Shyann would like to pursue a career in Veterinary Physical Therapy.

Natalie started with Golden Wood in August of 2021. Natalie has several years experience in boarding and animal care, and loves helping to take care of the pets.
